Over the years, we’ve had so many organizations help us, including the Salvation Army, the Campfire Boys and Girls of America, the L.A. Boys and Girls Club, Volunteers of America, the All Peoples Christian Center, the Catholic Charities, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Families in New Directions and the Korean Youth Community Center, just to name a few.
We also work closely with many deserving charities to help kids they sponsor. For example, we help kids from the Colorado Christian Home, a residential and day treatment facility that assists neglected and abused children. These kids are referred to the center by the Department of Human Services and the Department of Education. We’re proud to be part of this organization for many reasons, not least of which is their astounding success rate. Almost 90 percent of the kids discharged from their facility go on to lead healthy and productive lives.
We’re also proud to sponsor the Catholic Charities’ Kinship Care Program. This program primarily helps grandparents who are raising their grandchildren. Most of these grandparents are living on fixed incomes. Kinship Care helps more than 1,500 families every month and has m
ore than 100 families participating in its support group at any given time.
And those are just some of the nonprofit charities. We’d also like to thank other organizations for their time, commitment and donations,
